Who are we?

Collie Rescue of Central Alabama was started in July, 2001 as a result of the need to assist with the rescue of abandoned and abused collies in the area of central Alabama. It is our goal to rescue and rehabilitate as many collies as possible and to locate permanent loving homes for these collies. We strive to work with shelters, other established rescue organizations as well as individuals who wish to surrender their collies to accomplish our goals.

Collie Rescue is an effort by hundreds across the country to provide a haven for collies that have been neglected, abandoned, abused, or forgotten about. This effort is not only an outreach for the dogs but it helps us to grow as individuals in increasing the morals and humanity of peoples across the country. Please help Collie Rescue of Central Alabama. We are currently working with a very limited budget. Monetary donations are appreciated - even if you are not adopting one of our rescues. We also accept tangible - non perishable items such as food bowls, blankets, crates, crate mats, kennels, and TOYS!
