A nominating committee is appointed in the month of October of each year. The committee meets in November and announces the nominations at the December meeting. Nominations may be taken from the floor at this same time, as long as the person being nominated is willing to accept the nomination. No nominations can be made at the annual meeting, which is held in January at which time the elections are made. The new officers take over at the annual meeting.
