The Collie Club of Alabama meets monthly on a date determined at the previous meeting. All meetings are held within the state of Alabama. Most meetings are held in the greater Birmingham area, however, we do occasionally meet at members homes outside this area.

The meetings consist of general club business. We also have an educational event at most meetings. At some meetings, depending on weather, members will bring puppies and other dogs that might need socializing, training, and to show off! This is always one of the highlights to any meeting!

Keeping with the traditions of the south, the Collie Club of Alabama meetings also always consist of our "Pot Luck" dinners. Each member or family that comes to the meeting is responsible for bringing a dish and a 2 liter drink. We have had some "mighty fine" dinners over the years. In fact, the Collie Club of Alabama has a cookbook "Collie-Flower and Other Delights". For more information about the cookbook, contact Sue or Brenda.
